Something unusual happed?
I've had something unusual happen and I've never seen it before, but did hear someone speak of it a while back.
I wanted to see if anyone knows about Hybrid Tea Roses reverting to the original stock it was designed from. The top picture is my Arctic White Tea Rose, a hybrid. Last year we had a hard wind come through and broke one of the stems off. I cut the flowers off the stem and stuck it in the ground beside it, then let the grass grow tall around it so the sun wouldn't cook the cutting. This year, the cutting bloomed, the bottom rose is what it produced. I got to admit, I've never had this happen before, have any of you guys? Or have you even heard of it happening? I've got it posted in Daves Garden as well. I thought this was something interesting to our rose gardeners in here, Frank
