Right now, if you haven't already done so, is the time to plant these early blooming flower bulbs. If you have any old home places close by sometimes you can see the green sprouted about 4 inches high and get a few for your yard. Right now in zone 8 the green is close to 6 inches high. The flowers mentioned and shown above can actually bloom with snow on the ground, so these cold temps that some have don't phase them much.
